Mold typically grows in moist environments. Identify any sources of excessive moisture, such as leaks in the roof, walls, or plumbing, and address these issues promptly to prevent further mold growth.You will also need to determine the extent of the mold infestation. If it's a small area (less than about 10 square feet), you might be able to handle the cleanup yourself. DIY For small areas 10 square feet or smaller
